Buffy S5E15 "The Body" might be the greatest artistic encapsulation of grief over a mother's death I've ever witnessed. I did not expect for an episode of this campy vampfest to move me. Holy wow, please send tissues.

You can go to any number of small, rusted out towns in the American midwest and recount the story of most of our country's history. The haunted grain elevators, the smell of stale beer wafting out of craftsman homes. Mature oaks, sycamores, and maples lining streets and littering unkempt public parks. These towns are beautiful and perfect in every way. ❤️
